Happy 2013, everyone! Sticking to your new year's resolutions can get really tough, but I strongly encourage you to get motivated, and set some goals for yourself - big or small! Here are my top goals that I want to accomplish throughout the year:
Cheers!
A few book recommendations:
ReplyDelete*The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time (Mark Haddon)
*Same Kind of Different as Me (Ron Hall & Denver Moore)
*The Last Picture Show (Larry McMurtry)
Read 1 book a month is one of my resolutions, too! I just read Gone Girl, it was great. Highly recommend it. Also The Art of Racing in the Rain. Lovely. Tell me more about the 9 min/mile pace...
ReplyDeleteI recycled that goal from last year.. I guess I needed to get a full year of motivation to now start! I saw that 'Gone Girl' is on the NY Times Best Seller's list, so I'll add that to my lucky 12 :)
DeleteI am going to start 'The Time Keeper' by Mitch Albom for January.
I'm not a fast runner, I typically keep a steady 10-minute mile pace, so I want to get at a consistent 9-minute mile, and run a 5K less than 27 minutes.
